Lagos' leisure landscape has just been highly upgraded with a decisive latest addition to its seaside offers: Landmark Beach. So off course the spot has not just popped out from scratch and Landmark did not wait until 2019 to dip your feet in the water, but the touristic offer did, and the diversity of it is just a game-changer for sunscreen lovers. Dare Lagos tell you why.

Dubai Style

When your day to day life is shared with 23 million inhabitants, there is no way to refuse a fresh-air get away from the hustle, and Landmark is first and foremost a treat for your eyes! We don’t want to repeat ourselves, but don’t you think this very cute beach has a touch of Pirates of the Caribbean? See this old wreck floating ashore with the lagoon-kind of the environment? The whole site has been concession in early 2019, and the few tenants embarked went for a “Dubai-style décor” with refined Cabanas covered with wind-floating white veils. They went so far as to import the sand to have this pure white effect that you won’t see with the usual Lagos sand.

Family Friendly

Aside from the postcard, the spot is ideal for families. Sea, fun, and sun with lots of game options and some food choices, that will delight parents and kids alike. A brand new synthetic football pitch, with lights at night, decorates the entrance while a nautical club stands by the sea. Another unique asset of Landmark is indeed its geographical environment, benefitting from the calm waters of the semi-lagoon thanks to the new neighborhood of Eko Atlantic. All water options are on the table, without risking the dangers of the Atlantic ocean and its huge waves and tide. You can rent kayaks, paddles or jet-skis and boat tours are available. With the sea-breeze, the site is uniquely tailored for kite-surfing, and you will enjoy the view of flying dancers with colorful wings. If you’re in for a chill, well just rent a seat or a cabana, or even tables and chairs for an unforgettable picnic.

Hype in the sand

For those out there belonging to the party-crew, Landmark would not be complete with its beach-bar: the Lagos Beach Club. How better to kick-start the weekend with a sea-view cocktail? Do try the coconut option – with a secret twist  - for your tropical favorite rum. Believe it or not, a DJ is often there to flood the place with great electro music.
